The Pension Fund of Ukraine reported on the recalculation of pensions in October and provided data on the size of the average pension. It increased to UAH 4,539.36. However, the increase did not affect all pensioners, and the size of their payments does not reach the average pension.
"Pension Courier" writes about it.
According to the Pension Fund, only 2.8 million of the 10.7 million pensioners received a raise in October. That is, the majority remained without an increase.
However, the increase did not affect those who:
- Has not accumulated the necessary experience - 30 years for women or 35 years for men
- He has not reached the age of 65
- Continues labor activity.
That is, the recalculation was carried out for people aged 65 to 69 years inclusive, with full experience. For them, the minimum old-age pension is set at the level of 40% of the minimum salary. In October, due to the increase in the minimum wage, the minimum pension for unemployed people increased from UAH 2,600 to UAH 2,680, that is, by only UAH 80.
And if a person's basic pension amount is greater than this amount, of course, he will not feel any increase either, because it is a matter of changing the minimum indicators.
We will remind you that in December some Ukrainians will receive 660 hryvnias for their pension.
